About The Position
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse for the Baptist Oncology Medical-Surgical unit at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care, including assessment and reassessment, care-plan development, implementation of appropriate interventions, and evaluation of those interventions. The nurse also supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate. The position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The role may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed. The position may have additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Other certifications and competencies as required based on the service line.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery and documentation of patient care.
- Assess and reassess patients.
- Develop plans of care.
- Implement appropriate patient-care interventions.
- Evaluate patient-care interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
- Guide and mentor non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
- Follow standard precautions.
