About The Position
INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time night-shift Staff Registered Nurse for the Baptist Oncology Medical-Surgical unit at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care, including assessment and reassessment, developing plans of care, implementing and evaluating appropriate interventions, and supervising and coordinating other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned. The nurse also provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students when appropriate. The position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The posting notes that the role may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. The work may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Other certifications and competencies required based on the service-line skill.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery and documentation of patient care.
- Assess and reassess patients.
- Develop plans of care.
- Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
- Evaluate patient care interventions.
- Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
- Follow standard precautions when exposed to potential workplace hazards.
