About The Position

The Nursing Student works as a Patient Care Aide until Apprentice Certification is obtained. The responsibilities of the Nursing Student include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Nursing Student must exhibit the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED
Enrolled in a Board approved nursing education program
Selected for the RN apprenticeship program by the college or university
BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period
