About The Position

The Nursing Student works as a Patient Care Aide until Apprentice Certification is obtained. The role provides direct patient care and maintains patient care standards. The Nursing Student must be able to work with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, organize and set priorities, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Enrollment in a Board-approved nursing education program.
• Selection for the RN apprenticeship program by the college or university.
• BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
