About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a part-time RN Admin Supervisor for Nursing Administration at INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role is on a variable shift and supports continuity of hospital management and patient care operations. The supervisor provides consultation and staff supervision when department directors are unavailable, monitors patient care unit activity and coordinates bed availability and staffing, arranges special services, responds to incidents and emergencies, documents shift activities, assists with specialized nursing procedures, and determines the need for Divert Status with the Administrator on call.

Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Two years of experience providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Receive reports and interact with Clinical Directors as needed to provide continuity in management activities.
Provide consultation and supervision of staff in the absence of the department director.
Assess the overall activity level of patient care units and coordinate bed availability with Bed Assignment and staffing Coordinators.
Arrange special services, such as on-call personnel or services from a department not ordinarily on call.
Respond to and document department incidents and emergencies, and send a copy to the responsible department head.
Document outstanding shift activities and pertinent information for the Vice President and Division Director through daily written reports.
Assist with difficult or specialized nursing procedures.
Determine the need for Divert Status with the Administrator on call.
