About The Position

The Medical Assistant provides patient care and related services to support patients’ needs and comfort under the direction of a physician, mid-level provider, or RN. The role includes obtaining basic assessment information such as vital signs and point-of-care test results; advocating for patients; administering prescribed medications; preparing examination and procedure rooms; assisting providers; and documenting in the electronic medical record in accordance with TriState Health policies and procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts rotating Monday through Friday, with every other weekend forming a four-day weekend.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Washington State Certified Medical Assistant.
Medical Assistant Registration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Computer skills, including experience with electronic medical record systems.
Ability to work in a team environment while maintaining a highly professional and productive work ethic.

Previous clinic experience.
