About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Automotive Wheel Repair Technician to repair vehicle wheels and rims at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves repairing deep wheel damage, operating a wheel repair machine, and painting and clear-coating wheels. Entry-level hires may receive training programs to help their skills and pay progress. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to hot or cold weather, and may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. The role requires the ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently. Use of protective equipment may be required. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment and protective garments.
Pass a complete background check.
