About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Automotive Rim Repair Technician to repair wheels at one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves repairing deep wheel damage, operating a wheel repair machine, and painting and clear-coating wheels. The position is based in Delanco, New Jersey. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level, plus a $1 shift differential. Carvana offers training programs for employees entering in entry-level positions so their skills and pay can progress with the company.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional experience in wheel or rim repair.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Passing a complete background check is a condition of hiring.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
