About The Position

Under general supervision, provide customer service and operate amusement rides and attractions. This role involves assisting customers, operating controls for rides and attractions, ensuring safety, maintaining order, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED, or higher.
  • Six (6) months of customer service or public contact experience.
  • A Texas Class "C" Driver's License or equivalent from another state.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must obtain a Ropes Course Inc. certification within thirty (30) days of appointment.
  • Ropes Course Inc. certification must be renewed every 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service and assist customers, including welcoming and greeting them.
  • Collect admission tickets and passes, examining them for authenticity.
  • Assist customers in finding seats, guiding them to exits, and providing instructions during emergencies.
  • Operate amusement rides and attractions according to the daily schedule.
  • Observe customers during boarding to ensure safe seating and adherence to capacity limits.
  • Maintain order and enforce safety rules, including ensuring safety devices are secure before operation.
  • Inspect rides and attractions to ensure equipment is in working order and safe for customer use.
  • Report any irregularities or broken equipment to supervisors.
  • Maintain records for amusement rides and attractions.
  • Clean amusement rides and attractions and surrounding areas.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints courteously and professionally.
  • Notify customers of expiration periods for paid access to rides or attractions.
  • Search for lost articles and parents of unattended children.
  • Open and close rides and attractions according to the daily schedule.
  • Use and post appropriate signs if a ride or attraction is closed for maintenance.
  • Provide information to supervisors, coworkers, and the public via various communication methods.
