About The Position
A well-established, large multispecialty private medical practice in Williamsville near Buffalo, New York, is seeking a Rheumatologist to take over the patient base of a retiring physician. The practice has satellite offices throughout Western New York and offers coordinated multidisciplinary care, dedicated clinical and administrative support, onsite specialty physicians, and ancillary services including a spa, infusion center, weight loss program, nutrition services, and diagnostic imaging. No inpatient hospital care is required. The role may be full-time or part-time. The physician can choose their own hours Monday through Friday and will participate in a shared after-hours call rotation. Compensation is $350,000 per year plus productivity bonuses.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible Rheumatologist.
- MD or DO license to practice in New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient care to new and established practice patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans or goals.
- Document encounters and progress notes in the EMR system.
- Provide continuity of care and refer patients to specialists as applicable.
- Communicate testing results, follow-up care, and other information to patients.
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and other clinical staff.
- Participate in the after-hours call rotation schedule.
