About The Position

The Order Builder prepares customer orders for delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment, working as part of a team to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full. The role includes building and staging orders from pick tickets, moving and handling product, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The position is in Buffalo, New York, pays $22.50 per hour, and follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

At least 6 months of general work experience.
Ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull more than 50 pounds; reach above head height; squat, kneel, bend, and reach.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to push and pull manual and powered material-handling equipment containing product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance.
Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Prior warehouse experience.
Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

Accurately build and stage orders based on pick tickets for loading onto delivery trucks.
Manually lift and move product to restock and repack, ensuring date-code accuracy and proper rotation.
Use manual or powered material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move product and materials to and from designated locations.
Follow procedures related to product age, quality, and safety.
Meet productivity requirements.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support efficient warehouse operations.
