About The Position

The Order Builder prepares customer orders for delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment, working as part of a team to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full. The role involves accurately building and staging orders for delivery-truck loading, handling and rotating product, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 6 months of general work experience.
• Ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull 50 or more pounds; reach above head height; squat, kneel, bend, and reach.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to push and pull manual and powered material-handling equipment carrying product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance.
• Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately build and stage orders from pick tickets for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Manually lift and move products to restock and repack, ensuring date-code accuracy and proper rotation.
• Use appropriate manual or powered material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move products and materials to and from designated locations.
• Follow procedures related to product age, quality, and safety.
• Meet productivity requirements.
• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support efficient warehouse operations.
