About The Position
The Order Builder prepares customer orders for delivery in a fast-paced, team-based warehouse environment. The role ensures customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full by accurately building and staging orders for loading onto delivery trucks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 9:00 a.m. start time. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour.
Requirements
- At least six months of general work experience.
- Ability to repetitively lift, push, and pull more than 50 pounds; reach above head height; squat, kneel, bend, and reach.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to push and pull manual and powered material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, containing product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance.
- Ability to repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience.
- Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
- Accurately build and stage orders based on pick tickets for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack it, ensuring date-code accuracy and proper rotation.
- Use appropriate manual or powered material-handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, to move product and materials to and from designated locations.
- Follow procedures related to product age, quality, and safety.
- Meet productivity requirements.
- Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support efficient warehouse operations.
