About The Position

AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, is growing its team and seeking a Reverse Engineer Software Engineer, Level 2. This is an on-site position located in Hanover, MD, and is not a hybrid or remote role. The mission requires mastery of Python, C, or C++ with experience in multi-platform (Windows/UNIX) architecture, advanced skill in managing automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo, and the ability to deliver under tight resource constraints. An active Top Secret SCI with an appropriate polygraph clearance is required.

Requirements

• Mastery of Python, C, or C++
• Experience in multi-platform (Windows/UNIX) architecture
• Advanced skill in managing automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo
• Minimum 14 years of experience in high-complexity software contracts and programs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered)
• Demonstrated experience leading software teams and mentoring junior developers
• Active Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph clearance

• Front End development experience
• Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering under tight resource constraints

Responsibilities

• Translate complex mission requirements into scalable software designs and technical roadmaps.
• Handle massive datasets and optimize performance for high-stakes environments.
• Lead the creation of global test plans and oversee the execution of rigorous QA procedures.
• Manage automated CI/CD environments using Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
• Lead software teams and mentor junior developers.
