About The Position
GTSC seeks a Software Reverse Engineer, Level 1 to deliver high-quality code under strict resource and time performance constraints. This is an on-site position in Hanover, MD, requiring an Active Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph clearance. The role involves full-lifecycle development, managing large-scale datasets, implementing advanced algorithms, performing system optimization, and integrating DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering within programs of similar scope and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent professional experience may be considered).
- Expert-level command of at least one major language: Python, C, C++.
- Proven track record developing for both Windows and UNIX environments, including shell scripting and automation.
- Active Top Secret SCI with appropriate polygraph.

Responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug applications while articulating the underlying methodologies to stakeholders.
- Manage large-scale datasets, implement advanced algorithms, and perform deep-level system optimization.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test procedures, including Unit, Integration, and Regression testing.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or Bamboo).
