About The Position

As a Revenue Fiscal Analyst 2 with the Bureau of Enforcement and Taxpayer Assistance Operations and Performance Division, you will help guide important decisions through careful analysis. This role allows you to explore trends, study geographic patterns, and help shape enforcement strategies. As a Revenue Fiscal Analyst 2, you will be providing advanced geospatial, fiscal, and statistical analysis to support enforcement strategies and operational planning. In this role, you will perform the following duties: Geospatial Modeling: Develop geospatial assignment models that improve efficiency and support enforcement activities Data Integration: Combine geospatial, fiscal, and statistical information to support resource allocation and planning Impact Analysis: Evaluate how policy or legislative proposals may affect revenue or operations across regions Workflow Automation: Create automated tools, scripts, and processes that improve the accuracy and speed of analytical tasks Reporting Preparation: Produce clear reports, maps, dashboards, and presentations for internal review and decision making

Requirements

  • One year as a Revenue Fiscal Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Three years of technical experience in fiscal analysis and a bachelor's degree including thirty credits in economics, statistics, mathematics, and/or computer science; or Two years of experience in fiscal analysis and a master's degree in economics, business administration, statistics, mathematics, or computer science; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Experience with geospatial concepts, mapping principles, and using ArcGIS Pro to create ZIP-code-based maps and perform geographic analysis.
  • Experience with data analysis, fiscal analysis, and statistical research methods used to support enforcement and resource-allocation decisions.
  • Experience designing and managing analytical datasets and conducting analysis using advanced Excel, Access, Power BI, SQL, and ArcGIS Pro, as well as developing reports and dashboards.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and reviewing code for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience interpreting analytical and geospatial findings, identifying trends, and preparing recommendations to improve operational and revenue outcomes.
  • Experience designing geospatial models, mapping workflows, and automated tools that support enforcement and field operations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally, organize and present analytical or geospatial results, and collaborate effectively with staff.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and apply problem solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
  • Must pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment due to access to Federal Tax Information (FTI).
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for the Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN).
