About The Position
Responsible for supervising accounts receivable and collections operations within a specialty pharmacy and infusion billing environment. Oversees collection staff, payer follow-up, denial resolution, aging AR reduction, and reimbursement recovery efforts.
Requirements
- 3+ years healthcare AR or collections experience
- Experience in specialty pharmacy, infusion, or medical billing
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and PBM billing
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience with billing and revenue cycle systems

- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor AR and collections staff
- Manage outstanding claims follow-up and denial resolution
- Monitor AR aging and collection performance metrics
- Escalate payer reimbursement and underpayment issues
- Ensure accurate documentation within billing systems
- Coordinate appeals and reconsideration submissions
- Train staff on payer guidelines and collection procedures
- Collaborate with billing, intake, pharmacy, and finance teams
