About The Position

Silverado is hiring a Revenue Cycle Manager for their Home Office in Irvine. This is a hands-on, people-focused leadership role responsible for overseeing billing and collections operations. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency, compliance, and performance across hospice revenue cycle functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
  • 2–5 years of experience in billing and collections
  • Solid understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing
  • Prior experience with EMR systems
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Proven ability to supervise and lead administrative and professional staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Hospice experience strongly preferred
  • WellSky experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee billing and collections operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage the full claims lifecycle from submission through resolution, including configuration for timely payment
  • Monitor denial trends, assign follow-up resources, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Prepare and analyze key revenue cycle reports and metrics to support performance optimization and decision-making
  • Support month-end close activities, including reporting and account reconciliation
  • Leverage data and insights to improve team performance and overall revenue cycle outcomes
  • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency
  • Supervise, onboard, train, and develop revenue cycle staff; create job aids and workflow tools as needed
  • Organize, delegate, and evaluate team responsibilities to ensure consistent performance
  • Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive results
  • Ensure revenue cycle operations align with organizational goals, policies, and Silverado’s mission and values
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
