About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for developing and supporting the organization’s front desk operations at each clinic to optimize patient authorizations, scheduling, and collections. This position will provide front desk operations workflow development, organizational training, and overall support to billing/finance and quality/compliance teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing EPIC products, SAMMS preferred.
  • Experience providing support and training to end users of EMR products, specifically EPIC.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing insurance verification, eligibility screening and authorization management in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years providing oversight to front desk and/or revenue cycle operations.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical, user-friendly terms.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including strong technical writing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge and experience in front desk functions to develop and provide training to front desk staff at clinical locations.
  • Develops, monitors and presents financial and qualitative reporting to management teams.
  • Implement and enforce regulatory compliance related to front desk operations.
  • Provides oversight to all funder reporting requirements related to front desk operations (for ex: DDAP, National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment, Federally Qualified Health Center).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address the unique needs of Root Center and our patients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in front-end revenue cycle management operations.
  • Develop front desk work flow optimization through use of EPIC and SAMMS electronic medical records.
  • Provide authorization management and oversight as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
