Returning Assistant Store Manager - Spirit
About The Position
This position is for anyone who has previously worked for Spencer’s / Spirit Halloween in an Assistant Store Manager position. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager with staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of a seasonal store. The role supports the overall operation of the store to help ensure maximum sales and profitability through guest service, staff development, expense and shrinkage control, merchandising, and inventory control. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a flexible schedule, and have prior retail management experience.
Requirements
- Must have previously worked for Spencer’s / Spirit Halloween in an Assistant Store Manager position.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a flexible schedule.
- Prior retail management experience is required.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 or more hours.
- Ability to climb ladders and set up fixtures.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in staffing the seasonal store.
- Support store setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown.
- Assist with the overall operation of the store to help ensure maximum sales and profitability.
- Establish and maintain guest services.
- Develop staff.
- Control expenses and shrinkage.
- Support all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
