About The Position

This position is for someone who has previously worked for Spencer’s / Spirit Halloween in an Assistant Store Manager position. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of a seasonal store. The role supports store operations to help ensure maximum sales and profitability by establishing and maintaining Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing merchandising and inventory control.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Prior retail management experience is required.
• Must have previously worked for Spencer’s / Spirit Halloween as an Assistant Store Manager.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 or more hours.
• Able to climb ladders and set up fixtures.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with staffing, store setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown.
• Support the overall operation of the store to help maximize sales and profitability.
• Establish and maintain Guest Services.
• Develop staff.
• Help control expenses and shrinkage.
• Support merchandising and inventory control.
