About The Position
24-MAG LLC is seeking experienced retail trade and operations professionals for a fully remote consulting opportunity supporting advanced AI training and evaluation initiatives. Consultants will apply practical retail experience to review realistic scenarios, evaluate operational decisions and workflows, assess AI-generated content, and provide structured feedback to improve the accuracy, reasoning, and practical relevance of AI systems. Relevant backgrounds include retail supervision, pharmacy operations, general or operations management, and retail investigation. The work covers store operations, sales supervision, customer service, operational procedures, and industry-specific practices and compliance considerations. Deliverables may include written evaluations, scenario reviews, operational recommendations, and documented feedback. Consultants will work independently and may collaborate remotely with retail professionals, operations specialists, and technical contributors. Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to an employer, client, institution, or other third party. Prior AI training experience is not required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience in retail trade, retail operations, or a directly relevant specialization.
- Substantial practical knowledge of retail workflows, operational procedures, or industry-specific business practices.
- Professional experience as a Retail Sales Supervisor, Store Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, or related retail professional.
- Strong understanding of retail management, day-to-day business operations, customer-facing processes, sales processes, customer service, and frontline employee supervision.
- Ability to evaluate operational scenarios and identify realistic, effective approaches to practical business problems.
- Experience implementing, supervising, or advising on retail operating procedures and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant retail compliance requirements, professional standards, and operational responsibilities.
- Strong analytical reasoning, critical-thinking, and practical problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to identify inconsistencies, incomplete information, and inaccurate assumptions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex retail processes clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to provide clear, actionable recommendations independently.
- Must complete work without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party.

- Experience in pharmacy operations, retail investigations, loss prevention, or other relevant retail subdomains.
- Experience evaluating operational case studies, business procedures, or scenario-based decision-making.

- Assess scenarios against relevant industry standards, procedures, compliance considerations, and professional responsibilities.
- Provide practical recommendations, reference explanations, and structured corrections grounded in professional retail experience.
- Create and refine written materials describing retail workflows, operating procedures, and industry practices.
- Document evaluation findings, operational observations, and recommendations clearly and precisely.
- Participate in structured discussions and collaborate remotely with professionals and technical contributors to improve evaluation materials.
