About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare for the morning rush. The role involves delivering Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors, moving between customer service, stocking supplies, and maintaining food displays, and adapting to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time overnight opportunity. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including frequent standing, walking, handling, horizontal reaching, reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and potentially lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Stock shelves and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and enticing food displays.
• Assist customers and help prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Transition between tasks and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
