About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. The role also involves learning different parts of the business and building valuable skills as part of the team. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must work a minimum of five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. to qualify for the shift differential.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer.
• Transition between tasks such as engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and keep the store clean and organized.
• Help prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
