About The Position

The Overnight Retail Team Member helps create an exceptional customer experience and keeps the store clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the day ahead. The role includes assisting customers, preparing food displays, replenishing supplies, and ensuring the store is ready for the morning rush. Team Members demonstrate Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time and overnight. To qualify for the shift differential, the employee must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to perform the stated physical activities, including frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing, and may need to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with high-temperature equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by demonstrating GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer.
• Transition between customer service, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and prepared for the day ahead.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
