About The Position
The Retail Team Member contributes to the success of the Moline Store and Goodwill’s mission by providing outstanding customer service, processing donations, operating the cash register, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The role involves handling material, greeting donors, processing donations, and replenishing inventory on the sales floor. Team members work together to create a positive experience for customers and coworkers while meeting store and production goals. Production Retail Team Members follow current best practices for sorting, tagging, hanging, and pricing merchandise, and work with store leadership to assess inventory needs. They accurately record production units to meet or exceed goals set by leadership and customer demand. For outlet-specific positions, team members accurately read and record the weight of customer selections at the cash register. As needed, they help operate large tipping units to fill boats with products for the sales floor, following safety expectations, and supplement production through product sorting and material handling.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Successful completion of a sex offender background check.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service and help maintain a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
- Greet donors and process donations.
- Handle material and replenish inventory on the sales floor.
- Use the cash register.
- For production roles, sort, tag, hang, and price merchandise according to current best practices.
- Work with store leadership to assess inventory needs.
- Accurately record production units and work toward or exceed production goals.
- For outlet-specific roles, accurately read and record the weight of customer selections.
- As needed, help operate large tipping units to fill boats with product for the sales floor while ensuring customer and employee safety.
- As needed, support production through accurate and efficient product sorting and material handling.
- Work required weekend hours every other weekend.
