About The Position

The Retail Support Associate works as a Shoe Expeditor in Macy’s Women’s Shoe department, helping ensure smooth department operations and an easy, enjoyable shopping experience. The role involves locating and delivering requested merchandise to selling colleagues, fulfilling digital orders, maintaining clean and organized stock and sales areas, and providing friendly customer service. The position requires urgency, attention to detail, collaboration, adaptability, and availability for retail shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, provide assistance, and address concerns to support a positive shopping experience.
• Conduct sales transactions, including operating cash registers, handling payments, and processing exchanges or returns.
• Quickly and accurately pull orders from the stockroom and stage them for sales colleagues.
• Locate and pull merchandise to fulfill digital customer orders.
• Arrange and replenish displays to keep the store orderly and visually appealing.
• Organize the stockroom, process new and damaged items, perform shoe inventory, and scan items back into stock.
• Maintain accurate pricing and signage, using technology to update product prices, promotions, and information according to company guidelines and policies.
• Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
