About The Position

The Retail Supervisor leads daily retail operations in a fast-paced, guest-focused attractions environment. The role leads and inspires the Retail Team, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members. The supervisor also acts as a Duty Manager when required, helping oversee the attraction’s daily operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, a visitor attraction, or a similar customer-focused environment.
• Proven experience leading teams and driving operational success.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Experience with merchandising, inventory management, and retail operations.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and people-management abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Comfort using retail systems, POS systems, and inventory management tools.

• College degree.
• Experience in a dynamic attractions environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the shop floor and deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve service, sales, and operational goals.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing team development.
• Drive retail performance through merchandising, inventory control, and sales initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and contribute to revenue growth across retail operations.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure effective guest recovery when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, visual presentation, and operational compliance standards.
• Assist with labor planning, scheduling, and staff utilization to meet business needs.
• Support stock management, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and stock-taking processes.
• Act as a Duty Manager when required and help oversee the attraction’s daily operation.
• Foster a positive, fun, guest-focused team culture.
