About The Position

The Retail Store Sales Assistant Manager helps customers find and purchase outdoor adventure and everyday lifestyle products by providing dedicated service and friendly assistance. The role also supports the management of store operations and the hiring, training, and development of sales associates. The assistant manager contributes to a positive store culture and an uplifting environment.

This is a full-time position with benefits. Store hours are 9:30 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Saturday; the store is closed on Sundays. The position requires Saturday and holiday availability. Pay is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have 2 years of experience in retail management or equivalent.
• Have a valid Utah driver's license or equivalent.
• Be able to work Saturdays and holidays.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory control, and cleanliness standards.
• Hire and develop new team members.
• Coach and train sales associates to improve their personal sales metrics.
• Become forklift certified and load customer orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a positive store culture and an uplifting environment.
