Retail Store Manager- New Store
About The Position
Bob’s Discount Furniture is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead a store and drive performance through strategic leadership and day-to-day operations. The manager fosters a culture of service, accountability, and excellence, spending most of their time on the sales floor coaching and motivating the team, maintaining a visually compelling showroom, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with The Bob’s Way. This is a full-time, in-store leadership role requiring availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The role combines business acumen, team leadership, customer engagement, and strategic execution. Compensation is a $65,000–$75,000 base salary plus incentive bonuses, with expected total compensation of $80,000–$115,000; bonuses are guaranteed during training.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in retail leadership, preferably in a sales-driven environment.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding financial targets.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and interact on the showroom floor for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
