About The Position

Rowan is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Store Associate for its Krog District studio. This hourly, non-exempt role supports the team on weekends and is responsible for creating an exceptional piercing and shopping experience. The associate helps customers with ear piercings, recommends and styles jewelry, shares product and aftercare information, and helps maintain the studio’s cleanliness, safety, inventory, and visual standards. The position reports to the Studio Manager. Weekend availability and flexible availability during the week are desired; candidates must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
Strong communication skills.
Strong basic math skills.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to stand for a full 8-hour shift.
Ability to perform tasks that may include climbing ladders, bending, lifting, pushing, and reaching above and below the waist.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and help create a celebratory studio environment.
Check customers in or help them book appointments using POS technology and software systems.
Help customers select and style piercings and hypoallergenic non-piercing jewelry.
Answer customer questions about piercing procedures, aftercare, and products in person and by phone.
Promote Rowan products, including non-piercing jewelry and aftercare kits, and maintain current product knowledge.
Meet or exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics by communicating the value of Rowan’s services and products and converting piercing customers into non-piercing jewelry customers.
Keep the studio clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Follow health and safety regulations, especially those related to piercing procedures and hygiene.
Assist managers with receiving, restocking, pricing, displaying, cleaning, and maintaining inventory and visual displays.
Work with the Studio Manager and Studio Nurse Piercers to provide seamless customer service.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions, support studio-wide goals, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges.
Conduct regular stock checks and replenish displays as needed.
Maintain customer records, including consent and waiver forms and aftercare instructions.
