About The Position

The Retail Stock role is responsible for processing merchandise and customer orders while supporting store operations. The ideal candidate is independent, motivated, results oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences. Early availability is required; shifts would likely run from 1 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The position involves receiving and distributing freight and merchandise, fulfilling and shipping customer orders, using inventory management systems, maintaining organized selling floors and stockrooms, and providing general store support. The work requires continuous movement and frequent handling and lifting of merchandise.

• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
• Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
