About The Position

Nordstrom Rack team members work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers. The role supports a quick and easy customer experience while helping keep the store clean and clutter-free. Team members may work in different areas of the store, including Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment, to maintain store cleanliness and support customers. Stock Support and Fulfillment duties include receiving and unloading freight, unpacking and delivering merchandise to selling departments, fulfilling customer orders, and preparing orders for shipment. Team members use inventory management systems to process and research merchandise shipments, maintain organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provide general store support such as setting up special events, organizing backrooms, completing markdowns, and relocating fixtures.

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
For Stock and Fulfillment roles, frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload freight, unpack merchandise, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner while following quality standards.
Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, completing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
Work flexibly in different store areas to maintain cleanliness and help customers.
