About The Position

The Retail Stock Lead embodies drive, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire others. This role oversees store opening and closing duties, helps deliver exceptional customer service, and supports a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. Working with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, the Stock Lead guides the team toward excellent customer experiences, sales goals, and operational efficiency. The role may step in as manager on duty and supports team motivation, development, and training through constructive feedback. The Stock Lead leads back-of-house operations, including inventory management, shipment processing, stockroom organization, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. They partner with store leadership to maintain efficient stock flow and support the sales floor, uphold company processes and standards, identify operational improvements, and help create a seamless customer experience. They are expected to demonstrate Princess Polly’s values, Business style, People Leadership principles, and Customer First approach.

Requirements

At least 3 years of retail experience, preferably in stock, inventory, or back-of-house operations.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory accurately and efficiently.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet operational deadlines.
A proactive, hands-on approach to teamwork and store operations.
Great sense of style and understanding of the Princess Polly brand.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Oversee store opening and closing duties.
Lead and support back-of-house operations, including inventory management, shipment processing, stockroom organization, replenishment, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Partner with store leadership to ensure efficient stock flow, support sales floor replenishment, and maintain a seamless in-store experience.
Support operational processes and company standards, keeping the stockroom and sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing.
Help lead, motivate, and develop the team by promoting accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
Identify opportunities to improve stockroom efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall store operations.
Build brand loyalty and awareness by supporting a seamless customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
