About The Position

The Retail Stock & Fulfillment role supports store logistics and fulfillment while helping deliver outstanding customer experiences. The position receives and processes incoming merchandise, fulfills and ships customer orders, uses inventory management systems to process and research shipments, maintains organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provides general support to store operations. This is a seasonal position at Old Orchard Center. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting them above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload freight, unpack newly arrived merchandise, and deliver it to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner according to quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders according to quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Help maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, processing markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
