About The Position

As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you deliver results through selling and genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn each customer’s needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect customers with suitable products and services. Through product knowledge and customer engagement, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and inspire loyalty. The role also includes maintaining a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales space, and supporting store and team results.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
• Understand customer needs and provide personalized product and service recommendations.
• Work toward daily sales goals using customer engagement and effective selling behaviors.
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor.
• Merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves.
• Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, thank them, and provide attentive checkout and package handoff service.
• Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration, and continue learning to improve individual and store results.
