About The Position

Rooms To Go is hiring a Retail Stock Associate to work in its retail stores. This fast-paced, multifaceted position is responsible for packaging, wrapping, and loading furniture purchases for customers; arranging furniture in the showroom at the direction of designers and managers; and maintaining the showroom’s overall appearance and cleanliness. The role involves lifting, loading, unloading, and/or assembling furniture, as well as general cleaning and maintenance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. The Asheville location listing states a starting rate of up to $18 per hour and full-time only; the general listing gives a starting salary of $15–$16 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• General cleaning and maintenance experience is preferred.
• Prior furniture and/or janitorial experience is a plus.
