About The Position

Rooms To Go is hiring a Retail Stock Associate to work in its retail stores. This fast-paced, multifaceted role involves packaging, wrapping, and loading customers’ furniture purchases; arranging furniture in the showroom at the direction of designers and managers; and maintaining the showroom’s appearance and cleanliness. The role requires furniture handling, including lifting, loading, unloading, and/or assembling furniture. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Rooms To Go is a furniture retailer founded in 1991, with approximately 200 stores in ten southern states. The company describes opportunities for team members to grow into management and sales positions. Starting pay is $15–$16 per hour, depending on experience. Medical, dental, vision, and other benefits are available based on hours worked.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively on a daily basis.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• General cleaning and maintenance experience is preferred.
• Prior furniture and/or janitorial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Package, wrap, and load furniture purchases for customers.
