About The Position

As a Retail Showroom Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, managing checkout processes, and coordinating order pickups. You will ensure efficient coordination with the warehouse for non-stocked items and maintain accurate cash drawer reconciliation. Additionally, you will be responsible for replenishing store goods daily, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Your attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction will contribute to the smooth operation of the retail showroom.

Requirements

• Comfortable and literate with computers (Windows 10) and mobile devices
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity and discretion
• Ability to remain in a stationary position at least 25% of the time during shift (typically up to 8 hours per day)
• Ability to move throughout the building at least 75% of the time during shift (typically up to 8 hours per day)
• Ability to move product up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds (team lift)

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their purchases by providing knowledgeable guidance, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth and satisfying shopping experience.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to quickly process and fulfill orders for products not displayed on the showroom floor.
• Manage checkout processes by efficiently handling transactions and processing payments.
• Coordinate order pickups by organizing and communicating with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate retrieval of items for customer collection.
• Ensure the accuracy of daily transactions by balancing and reconciling the cash drawer at the end of each shift, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Maintain optimal product availability and presentation by regularly restocking showroom shelves and displays, ensuring items are correctly placed and aligned with inventory levels.
• Implement proactive measures to deter theft and reduce loss by monitoring customer behavior, securing high-value items, and adhering to company policies for handling suspicious activity.
