Retail Sales Associate (Omaha Showroom)
About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate provides excellent customer service, assists customers with product selection, maintains a clean and organized showroom, and supports store operations. This full-time role is suited to someone who enjoys a dynamic environment and has an interest in home improvement, outdoor living, and high-quality consumer products. The associate helps customers learn about the company’s offerings and supports a positive shopping experience through professionalism and strong communication during customer interactions. The role is based in the Omaha showroom. It requires Saturday availability, with a weekday off, and has no Sunday shifts. Pay is $22.00–$24.00 per hour, with commission after 90 days. Training and support are provided.
Requirements
- Effective communication and people skills.
- Computer and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Motivation and a purposeful approach, with a strong interest in sales.
- Ability to work Saturdays, with a day off during the week.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or commission-based sales experience.
- Microsoft and CRM experience.
- Interest or knowledge in home improvement, outdoor furniture, and grills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Educate customers about products and answer questions clearly.
- Help customers select products that meet their needs.
- Build customer relationships to support repeat business and loyalty.
- Promote current sales, promotions, and product bundles.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Maintain knowledge of fireplaces, stone, casual furniture, grills, and outdoor living products.
- Keep the sales floor organized and clean.
- Assist with merchandising, product placement, and showroom readiness.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support team operations and assist other departments as needed.
