About The Position

As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you will help maintain store standards, motivate and support the team, and take responsibility for the shop floor in a fast-paced environment. You will manage store operations and colleagues when the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager are absent, helping ensure shifts run smoothly and customers have a good experience. The position offers opportunities to develop as a leader and progress with training.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support the team, learning from Lidl's Leadership and Company Principles.
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
• Create an environment where colleagues can succeed.
• Manage store operations and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly.
• Give customers the best experience every time they visit the store.
