About The Position

As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you will help maintain high standards in a fast-paced store environment. You will motivate and support your team, oversee the shop floor, and help ensure the store runs smoothly. You will take responsibility for store operations and colleagues when the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager are absent, while developing your leadership skills and contributing to a positive customer experience. • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and motivate a team.

• A proactive and encouraging approach to helping colleagues develop themselves and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support the team, learning from Lidl’s Leadership and Company Principles.
• Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
• Create an environment where colleagues can succeed.
• Manage store operations and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure shifts run smoothly.
• Provide customers with the best possible experience during each store visit.
