About The Position

McClure Oil is seeking a Shift Manager to support store operations and help deliver a high-quality customer service experience. The role includes serving customers, helping lead employees during a shift, maintaining an inviting store environment, operating the cash register, training new associates, stocking and receiving products, and completing daily paperwork and register balancing and closing as directed by the manager. Other duties may be assigned, and responsibilities may change at management's discretion.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to reach, stand, and move about for at least 12 hours at a time.
• Ability to use a ladder and lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, offer assistance, answer questions, and help provide a positive customer experience.
• Help maintain a friendly and inviting store environment for employees and guests.
• Direct employees' daily activities during the shift and ensure the team has the resources needed to succeed.
• Work as a store clerk and help train new store associates.
• Assist with stocking and receiving products.
• Complete daily paperwork and balance and close the register as directed by the manager.
• Help create a friendly and positive work environment for employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
