The Retail Shift Leader (Lead Pawn Broker) position offers competitive pay, generous bonus potential, and great benefits. EZCORP provides a structured career path for Team Members to enhance customer service and leadership skills. Completing the initial 5-week paid training program earns a $.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker. Further training for an Assistant Manager position is available, with a 6-month program to build the foundation to run a store. The role involves providing outstanding customer service, building customer relationships, promoting sales, and making deals for pawn items. It offers career growth in a retail environment, connecting with the community, and making a positive difference while leading and influencing Team Members through coaching and hands-on involvement. The Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) is responsible for providing a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
  • Sales background, a plus
  • Bilingual, a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers.
  • Promote sales and make deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
  • Lead and influence Team Members around you through coaching and hands-on involvement.
  • Provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.
  • Processing loans and extensions.
  • Coming to jointly satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
  • Performing opening and closing store procedures.
  • Supervising and coaching store Team Members.
