About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring a part-time Retail Security Officer in Mesquite, Texas. The role supports client properties by providing customer service, controlling access, maintaining administrative logs, monitoring security cameras, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents and emergencies. Officers help protect people and property while maintaining a safe environment. Candidates must meet the listed age, education, licensing, screening, language, and physical requirements. Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is required as a preferred qualification. The position starts at $15.84 per hour, depending on experience, location, and position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid License 2.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, including potentially lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.

Bilingual ability is considered a plus.
Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including directions and general business information.
Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs concerning people or property, including packages.
Control access for tenants, visitors, or vendors as required.
Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents, including emergencies, and record incident data for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
