Part-Time Retail Security Officer
About The Position
The Retail Security Officer helps maintain a safe environment by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. The role involves controlling entrances and traffic, patrolling buildings and surrounding areas, escorting personnel and materials, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing reports, responding to alarms and emergencies, and communicating with supervisors. Candidates should be vigilant, disciplined, observant, reliable, customer-service oriented, and able to communicate professionally, stay calm under stress, adapt to changing environments, and manage multiple priorities.
Requirements
- Must have a valid New Jersey State SORA License.
- Must have a valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean history.
- Must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Be vigilant, disciplined, and observant.
- Communicate clearly and professionally.
- Stay calm and focused in stressful situations.
- Be reliable and customer-service oriented.
- Adapt well to changing environments.
- Handle multiple priorities with ease.
