About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring a part-time Retail Security Officer in Mesquite, Texas. The officer provides customer service and security support, maintains administrative logs, controls access, monitors cameras, conducts patrols, and responds to incidents and emergencies. The role requires evening, overnight, and weekend availability. Positions start at $15.84 per hour, depending on experience, location, and position.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid License 2.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Meet the physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.
• Be available to work evenings, overnight, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to people encountered while on duty, including offering directions and general business information.
• Maintain clear, accurate front-desk administrative logs concerning people or property, including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to property incidents and emergencies, and record incident data for building and Titan Security management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
