About The Position

The Retail Security Guard maintains a safe environment at Towne East Square in Wichita, Kansas by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. This is an on-call/flex role with flexible scheduling. The position involves controlling entrances and traffic, patrolling buildings and surrounding areas, escorting personnel and materials, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing daily activity and incident reports, responding to alarms and emergencies, and communicating with supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–6 months of security or life-safety experience.
• State Guard license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Vigilance, discipline, and observant behavior.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Reliability and customer-service orientation.
• Adaptability to changing environments.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
