About The Position

Ohio Support Services (OSS), a contract security service firm founded in 1978, provides customized security programs to corporate, industrial, medical, educational, and other properties. The Flex Security Officer provides security services while maintaining courtesy, customer service, safety, vigilance, diligence, and integrity. This position guarantees 40 hours per week and requires availability to work full-time on any shift, any day. The stated on-call availability is Monday through Sunday, 12:00 AM–11:59 PM. Officers may be asked or directed to work overtime and may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Neat and well-groomed appearance.
Excellent customer service skills, including courtesy, patience, and understanding.
Good computer skills, including accurate keyboarding, navigating software applications and the internet or intranet, sending email, and restarting or rebooting computers and printers.
Reasonable general working knowledge of computers.
Ability to effectively speak and write English.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Willingness to work overtime when asked or directed.
Valid driver's license.
Ability and availability to work full-time, any shift, any day.

Responsibilities
