About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of local stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data that is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates also report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned.

This is a permanent part-time role averaging 2–4.5 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with higher demand from January through June. The assigned grocery route is in Dudley, Massachusetts, with available workdays of Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. The work takes place weekly for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, and requires meeting client deadlines. Associates work independently, with some flexibility in scheduling, and engage in continuous physical activity during work shifts.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers each week and report to each store within the specified deadline.

• Provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete weekly Display Scanning throughout the entire store.
• Complete Custom Projects that provide clients with more specific product details in main stocking locations when assigned.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-driven work.
